How do I renew my books?
There are four methods for renewing books that have been checked out.
1) Stop by the library front desk and request a renewal in person. Please check here for the hours when the library is scheduled to be open.
2) Call the library (913-667-5725 or 913-667-5729) and request a renewal. Please leave a message if necessary.
3) Send an email to the library director Vance Thomas (firstname.lastname@example.org) requesting a renewal.
4) Use the online catalog to access your user account and renew materials on your own. Simply click here and, when prompted, enter your user ID (the 13-digit barcode number on the back of your library card) and your four-digit PIN. Once you have accessed your account, click on the "Checkouts" tab in the "My Account" window. Select the items you would like to renew. Scroll to the bottom of the list and click on the "Renew Selected Items" button. A screen will display showing whether your renewals were processed successfully or not, the number of renewals remaining, and the appropriate due date for each item.
Be advised that items are typically available for two (2) renewals before they need to be returned to the library.
