I’m a distance student at another seminary, but I live in the Kansas City metro area. Can I use the library here and get a library card?

Answer
The Shumaker Library does grant borrowing privileges to students from other ATLA seminaries that participate in the ATLA Reciprocal Borrowing Program. Proof of current enrollment and confirmation that you are a student in good standing with the library (e.g., your library account is not banned or blocked at your home institution) are required to obtain privileges.
There are no additional fees to receive borrowing privileges.
Privileges are granted for a period of one (1) year at a time after which proof of enrollment and good standing will need to be repeated.
